Gloria Jane Kempton

KEMPTON – Gloria Jane,  63, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Monday, July 1st, 2013.

Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late Robie and Ruth (Roy) Anthony.

Gloria enjoyed sewing in her younger years as well as reading and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her companion Jackie Wamboldt of Milton, her sons Robert (Samantha Warrington) and Vernon, both of Liverpool, her grandchildren Natalie, Francesca and Miles, her sister Wilma Huphman, of Liverpool and half brother Schedule Roy of Milton.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Kempton and her sister Hilda Fisher.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Milton Community Cemetery.
