HAZLETT – Rose Marie, 73, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Monday, May 2, 2016.
Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Emma (Bell) Martin.
Rose enjoyed the simple things in life such as long walks, coloring, country music and, in her early years, dancing. She loved her family, especially her grandson, Christopher, and spending time with them.
Surviving are her daughter Crystal (Kevin) Traynor of Milton; her grandson Christopher; her brothers Donald (Cynthia) of Western Head; Warren (Valerie) and Wayne (Dorothy), both of London, ON.
Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be at a later date following cremation. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association. I am very sorry for the loss of your Mother. I know what you are going through as I went through it when my Mom died. I know she is in a better place with no more pain and being with her parents. My prayers are with you through at sad time. Just remember the good times before she took sick and they will get you through the next days.

I am sorry to hear of Rose’s passing. I met her when we used to go up and visit her Aunt Edna and her Uncle Orris Conrad. She was a lovely kind lady, I am glad to have her as a good friend. She is now flying with the Angels. RIP Rose and we hope to meet again in Heaven. Love David and family

Crystal, Kevin and Christpher…I am so sorry to hear about your mother…mother in-law, grandma..I had the joy of getting to know while she was in Fisherman’s Memorial in Lunenburg. while she was only there for a short time she had so many awesome stories to share. Such a sweet lady.. always so many chats about her family, especially of Christopher. remember the good times and the wonderful memories of her..she will be with you always…
