Dear Neil,
Barbara was special as a Mom, a Grandma and a Great-Grandma. She was special as a ‘Mom’ and friend to the many that knew her. She had a good heart; a good sense of values and a zest for life. And then when it came to her expertise in the kitchen, her reputation was renown! She didn’t only cook for her family; for those who hired her for her talent or for those that came to her canteen in S.W. Port Mouton, she also cooked for the many that came to her house. Her home was a haven for young and old alike. You were always welcome and you never went away hungry. Neil, you know how much your Mom loved you and Roddy and your families. Seeing the baby lit up her face. She will be missed by you all and by all the people whose hearts she had touched.
Howie and I and our family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you, Neil and to the rest of your Mom’s family.
