Fader, Mildred Kathleen – 91, of Lunenburg passed away peacefully at Harbour View Haven on February 1, 2014.

Born on July 13, 1922 in Lake May she was the daughter of the late Leland and Laura (Carver) White.

After living in Maitland Bridge and then moving to Hamilton she eventually moved back to Nova Scotia, residing in Clementsport and New Germany before moving to Harbour View Haven Lunenburg Home for Special Care. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family, friends and all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters Rhonda Fader of New Grafton, Lori Wamback of Middleton, and Shelley Hodgeson of Hamilton; sons Noel (Brenda) Fader of Calgary, Stewart (Pam) Fader of Hemford Forest, Joseph (Sherry) Fader of South Brookfield, and Kevin Fader of Calgary; sister Erna Stewart of Port Joli; grandchildren Shane, Timothy, Courtney, Lindsey, Justine, Amanda, Kevin, Laura and Davis along with eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving nieces Sandy, Anne, and Gail.

She was predeceased by sisters Phyllis and Lillian, and brothers Wilson, Howard, Ralph, Donald and Lorimer.

Visitation will be held at Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, on Friday, February 7th beginning at 12:30 p.m. followed directly by a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Northfield Cemetery, Queens County. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred’s memory can be made directly to Harbour View Haven in Lunenburg (25 Blockhouse Hill Road, P.O. Box 1480, B0J2C0) in acknowledgment of friendships made and the love and care she received from the nurses and staff during her time there.
