Doucette, Sheri Lynn
Doucette – Sheri L., 36, of Ste Anne Du Ruisseau, Yarmouth County passed away peacefully in QE II Health Science Centre, VG Site, Halifax on January 4th, 2010.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Eric and Valerie (Whynot) Wolfe.
Sheri was employed with Register.com as a telephone sales agent. She was a waitress for a number of years and worked for Scotia Garden Seafoods as well as working for the Chronicle- Herald as a district manager and paper carrier. Sheri enjoyed her computer time but especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her love of animals.
She is survived by her husband Wesley, stepmother Ethel Wolfe of Sandy Cove, her stepson Mitchel of Yarmouth. Sister Tammy MacLean of Saskatchewan and stepsister Tina (Glen) Burgess of Port Medway. Her brothers Eric Jr., of Halifax; Jason of Alberta and stepbrother William (Tammy) Parnell of New Minas.
Predeceased besides her parents were her paternal grandparents; Everett and Dorothy (Croft) Wolfe and maternal grandparents; Lawrence and Nina (Whynot) Whynot.
Visitation will be Friday, January 8th, 2010 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and funeral service will be Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Chaplain Donald Lawton officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Cemetery, Brooklyn, NS at a later date. No flowers. Donations may be made to the family. my saddest codolences go out to the family and close friends of sheri…my heart breaks to think that someone as kind ,warm and vivacious as sheri has had to leave us after living such a short time! i remember so fondly laughing and having so much fun with sheri and how her smile would light up a room and always made me smile! she was an absolutely fantastic person and will not soon be forgotten! she will live on in our memories…and the stories that we will have to tell!! love you always and forever sweet girl….

I grew up with Sherri,,, Eric was dad’s best friend for many years,,, we spent alot of weekends together,,,i will never forget her when she got excited she would grab me and just screetch and shake.The last time we talked she was soo happy,,,told me she was finally settled down with a good husband and family. I didnt know Sherri, I worked with her brother Eric at Sobeys if she was anything like him she must have been a great girl., WOW way too young to pass away. My heart goes out to everyone who knew her and my deepest sympathies to her families.
To Sheri’s family, there could hardly be a greater loss than the loss of someone so wonderful, so early in life.
Sheri was always a source of strength and happiness and it’s hard for me to remember a moment that I didn’t see her smiling. You could always depend on her to lighten your day, and give you enough that you felt you could always continue on.
It’s as though she never stopped giving, from where she found the strength to do so is beyond me. I’ve always heard people say things about others such as one in a million, but not even that phrase would do Sheri justice.
I’ll always remember Sheri, and the happiness she brought to the people around her.

Wes Iam Sorry U Have To Finish Ur Journey With Out Sheri, But I Know These Last Years Of Her Life Was Happy And I Thank You For Giving Her That One Thing We Have Always Wanted To Know And Feel Since We Were Kids, Undying Love And Happiness. You Gave That To Her, You Was Her Everything And Never In Her Hole Life Did She Feel That Kind Of Happiness. Now Jason When U Guys Lost Your Mom She Promised To Watch Over You And You Were More Than Just Her Lil Brother U Were Like Her Son She Was So Proud Of The Man You Became, And When Madison and Jaydon Were Born She Was So Proud More Then Just A Sister She Was Like A Mom, Jason You Were The Son She Never Had. I Miss Her So Much I Can’t Remember My Life Without Her In It, She Was My Sister We Never Judged Each Other, We Always Supported Each Other No Matter How Many Stupid Mistakes We Made. She Will Miss Her Booger Growing Up, She Has Been With Jessi All Her Life Too She Was The Cool Aunt, And I Will No Longer Have Her To Lean On, Now We All Have To Finish Our Journeys Without Her, But I Know She Will Be Watching Over Us, Just As If She Was Here.
