Carmon Everett Conrad

CONRAD – Carmon Everett, 64, of Eagle Head, Queens County, passed away suddenly in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Friday, August 12, 2016.
Born in Liverpool, Carmon was the only son of the late Everett Conrad and the late Florence (Selig) (Conrad) Lohnes.
Carmon was a long time employee for Michelin Tire in Bridgewater working for 35 years as a shift troubleshooter. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed NASCAR, boxing, football, baseball; especially the New England Patriots and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was a regular at Tim Horton’s where he loved to tell stories, talk to everyone and meet new people. You weren’t a stranger to Carmon very long before he knew your life story. He enjoyed time at the beach watching the ocean and time spent in his garage tinkering with cars, trucks and anything with a motor. He loved to travel and especially loved to drive; “just jump in the car and go.”
He especially loved his family and was proud of his children and would do anything for anyone. If help was needed, he would give it.
Carmon is survived by his wife Colleen (Coombs); his daughter Nicole (Art) Shepard of Cole Harbour, his son Casey (Lynsey Meisner) of Halifax.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool where visitation will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. To share memories or pass along condolences, please visit www.chandlersfuneral.com
